We will discuss the upsides and limitations of the concept of national comics in the case of Canada, an officially multicultural and bilingual country in constant search of national identity: Does Canadian Comics matter? What is national comics? Most popular comics? Best comics? What about immigrants and emigrants? What are the roles of institutions?
